Wash Care

Crinkle Cotton Sorbet

Washing:
• Gentle hand wash or tumble wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Use mild, eco-friendly detergent (pH-neutral preferred)
• Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals
• Avoid wringing, twisting, or squeezing to preserve crinkle texture

Drying:
• Line dry in shade to maintain longevity
• Tumble dry on low heat if needed

Ironing:
• Use a steam iron or press under a protective cloth
• To maintain the natural crinkle, opt for light steaming rather than flattening

Ajrakh cotton

Washing:
• First wash: separately by hand in cold water to release excess dye
• Subsequent washes: hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cold water
• Use mild, pH-neutral detergent
• Do not bleach or soak for long periods
• Wash dark colors separately — natural dyes may run slightly but stabilize with time

Drying:
• Line dry in shade to preserve rich natural tones
• Avoid tumble drying
• Do not wring; gently squeeze excess water

Ironing:
• Iron on medium heat while slightly damp
• Turn fabric inside out before ironing to protect hand-printed surfaces
• Light steaming helps retain softness and texture

Kala Cotton

• Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results.
• For a natural textured look, light steam pressing is enough.
• Avoid very high heat to protect the handwoven fibers.
